FIRST RF is seeking self-motivated and detail-oriented Configuration Management Coordinator to join our team. As a Configuration Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping many of our teams coordinate and store configurations to produce world class RF systems and antennas.

What You Can Expect

Essential Functions

  • Ensure Configuration Management process including ECR & ECO
  • Maintain integrity and traceability of changes throughout Production lifecycle, including Drawings, BOMs, Procedures, work instructions, Work Travelers
  • Prepare required documentation and ensure checklists completeness for ECR & ECO
  • Facilitate Adobe signature approval process
  • Reconcile questions related to configuration management procedure
  • Consistent organization of the Production Folder Structure for new products
  • Directly responsible for Document Control and Control of Records
  • Archive and scan applicable documentation
  • Maintain company document templates and forms


Support Functions

  • Review Inspection reports for incoming materials
  • Create First Article Inspection Reports as needed
  • Internal audits IAW ISO9001/AS9100
  • Assist Quality and Product Assurance functions as required




Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and photocopiers.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.  Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however these hours will vary based on workload and the manager’s discretion.  This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.





Required Education and Experience

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Technical degree or certifications in science or Engineering field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be organized in managing documentation
  • Clear oral & written communication skills

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Understand basics of Mechanical GD&T prints and electrical drawings
  • Conducted ISO 9001 or AS9100 internal audits
  • Familiar w/PCB and PCBA manufacturing process
  • Exposure to AS9102 First Article Report
  • Familiar with J-STD-001, IPC-600, IPC-610
