FIRST RF is offering a full-time position to assist in proposal preparation/budget development and financial analysis relating to government contracts. The ideal candidate will be a team player, provide budget analyses and assist in new business proposals in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Primarily responsible for the development of costing and submission of proposals
Interact with the executive team
Develop and evaluate budgets for program/project execution
Assist with monthly financial analysis of direct and indirect costs
Program planning and control
Work closely with Program Managers and Engineers to monitoring costs
Support quarterly program coordination and reviews (EACs)
Prepare and submit customer cost and funding reporting
Coordinate company-wide program summaries
Work with Accounting on revenue recognition
Conduct ad-hoc analysis
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however these hours will vary based on workload and the manager’s discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
U.S. Citizenship required due to contract regulations
Must reside in Colorado
Bachelor’s degree required, with emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred
Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups and large data sets)
Proficient in Microsoft Word to assist with proposals
Proficient in quantitative analysis
Ability to juggle competing priorities and proven track record of meeting deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills
High attention to detail
Highly motivated to learn and expand skillset
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience with government contracts and regulations
Experience working in a fast-paced, small company environment
